Sentinels - Watercolour - 30 x 50cm

These two redundant port cranes keep watch over West India Quay in London's Canary Wharf and have witnessed a lot of change over the last 30 years.  They are an impressive reminder of the history of this area and an incredible symbol of the industry that used to take place here.  These cranes are enormous but are still dwarfed by the developments alla round them and reflected in the building behind them.
